Anca P. Trifan, CMP, DES – is the CEO, creator, and strategist of Tree-Fan Events – a woman-owned and operated boutique event planning and production agency that she founded following years of experience in event production, where she adeptly wore many technical hats while skillfully planning, managing, and executing events of varying magnitudes.

The agency’s ultimate objective is to provide comprehensive support to each client, guiding them from the initial consultation call through to the design of the event experience, and meticulously managing every step of the pre-event planning production process, culminating in a flawlessly executed event, regardless of whether it is in-person, virtual, or hybrid.

Anca is a Certified Event Professional, a Digital
Event Strategist, recipient of the 2023 Smart Woman in Meetings Award by Smart Meetings, 40 under 40 BizBash Connect Corporate Meetings 2022 Awards, the 2022 #womentowatch award, and the 2021 winner of the Quickest Virtual Event Pivot Award by Untethered.

Originally from Romania, Anca is an AV Unicorn, a certified event planner, and a digital event strategist that has worked in event production for over twenty years, and has extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of AV + Lighting + Live-streaming, technical event planning, event design, and management, and will walk you through the entire event planning and production process with the highest level of standards to design a perfect and seamless event.

Anca‘s many years of working large-scale events on the front lines as a technical event producer, with the added skills of being a professional FOH (front-of-house) sound engineer, lighting designer, and video director, have paved the way for planning and executing different types of events while wearing numerous hats over the years.

Anca is an advocate for women in the technology world, which is fueled by a deep conviction and passion that there’s a need for more women role models in the production event world.

Through the means of Podcasting as well as by personal example, Anca wants to encourage and empower women to believe in their unique selves, skills, talents, creativity, emotional intelligence, and sensibility that can provide an amazing contribution to the technology and event production world!

She is an eternal optimist and a strong believer in the goodness of people, as well as passionate about the outdoors, environmental sustainability, lover of all things alive and green (hence the company name: Tree-fan), community involvement, and development.

Anca is also the brain and energy behind Women BTS in Events (tech + prod), an online community for women in production and technology that are looking for a place to BELONG, a virtual community dedicated to action, providing support and expertise to other women in technology and production in our local communities, as well as the global community.
