Events: Demystified began as a way to pull back the curtain on what it really takes to create extraordinary experiences—from the gear and the grit to the strategy and the soul. Over time, it became more than just a show. It became a mirror for this industry… and for me.
And every July, we’ve marked another year with celebration. Usually with special guests, bloopers, maybe a live roundtable or a look back at our most downloaded episodes.
But this year?
This July is different.
Because I’m different.
The industry is shifting. The world has changed.
And after six years of helping others share their stories, it’s time I share mine.
So instead of interviews or highlight reels, this month, I’m doing something I’ve never done before.

Season Nine was a wild ride, co-hosted with my fierce friend Megan Martin. That crossover season lit the spark that launched her own podcast Event About It. Together we welcomed incredible guests like David T Stevens, Jihan Gibson, John Moritz, Liz Lathan, Dawn Hope, Chris Musgrave—and collected some of the craziest anonymous event stories I’ve ever heard. You all showed up for that season.
Then came Season Ten. We opened with Carina Bauer of IMEX. We went live from Rainfocus INSIGHT 2025 with Mary Davidson and Liz Lathan.
