Anca Platon Trifan, CMP, DES, WMEP, is a seasoned event professional, podcast host, and AI strategist dedicated to championing women behind the scenes in AV, event production, and technology. She advocates for #FIT4EVENTS—mentally, physically, and emotionally—while promoting diversity in AV and the integration of AI in events.
As the host of Events: Demystified Podcast, Anca takes listeners behind the curtain to unpack the magic of event production and technology, making AV, AI tools, and event tech more accessible for in-person, virtual, and hybrid experiences.
Anca is currently the Sr. Manager, Strategic Partnerships, Event Technology & AI at M&I Worldwide and a recognized speaker that spoke at major industry events like MPI, IMEX, Connect, BizBash, Smart Meetings, and recently at SXSW. Fun Facts
Originally from Romania, Anca left her country at 20 to pursue event production. She is an AV and AI Unicorn that has now worked in event production for over twenty years, and has extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of AI technologies, Audio Visual, Lighting, Video Productions, Live-streaming, technical event planning, show calling, account management, budget, event design, event strategy, and will walk you through the entire event planning and production process in a holistic manner, with the highest level of standards to design a seamless event.
Anca is the first to have won the 2021 Quickest Virtual Event Pivot Award for her ability to adapt and innovate swiftly in light of Covid. Beyond her leadership role at Tree-Fan Events LLC, Anca has launched a sister company, FIT MINDFUL MAVENS and the #FIT4EVENTS framework.
She is the also the producer and host of the “Events: Demystified” Podcast, producer of Return on Wellness YouTube Series, and the founder of the online community “Women Behind The Scenes in Events (tech + prod).” As an engaging dynamic speaker and entrepreneur, she fervently advocates for women in tech-focused industries. Complementing her professional pursuits, Anca is a natural bodybuilding competitor, first place winner in the Bikini and Wellness categories, passionately promoting mental and physical fitness amongst professionals over 40.
Anca is an advocate for women in the technology world, which is fueled by a deep conviction and passion that there’s a need for more women role models in the production event world.
Through the means of speaking and podcasting as well as by personal example, Anca wants to encourage and empower women to believe in their unique selves, skills, talents, creativity, emotional intelligence, and sensibility that can provide an amazing contribution to the technology and event production world!
She is an eternal optimist and a strong believer in the goodness of people, as well as passionate about the outdoors, environmental sustainability, lover of all things alive and green (hence the company name: Tree-fan), community involvement, and development.
